Terms of service

Last updated: 17 September 2026

The short version: you send us a drawing, we illustrate it, you approve it before anything is made. You keep the rights to your child's drawing. We will not put it anywhere public without asking you first.

Who we are

Famous Fridge, 2566 NE 206th Ter, Miami, FL 33180, United States. You can reach a real person at hello@famousfridge.com.

These terms apply when you use famousfridge.com or place an order with us. By placing an order you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not order.

Who can order

You must be 18 or older to place an order. Children are very welcome to do the drawing — that is rather the point — but the order, the payment and the account belong to an adult.

What we make

We illustrate children's drawings and photographs of pets. Some of what we sell arrives by email (The Illustration, Make It Move). Some is printed to order and posted to you. Every printed item is made only after you have approved a proof.

The artwork you send us

This is the part that matters most, so it is in plain words.

  • You keep the rights to the original drawing or photograph. Sending it to us does not give them away.
  • You confirm you are allowed to send it. That means it is your child's own work, or your own photograph, or you otherwise have permission from whoever does own it.
  • You give us permission to use it to make your order. That includes storing it, editing it, illustrating from it, and sending it to the printing partner who makes your item. Nothing more than that.
  • We will not show your artwork publicly without asking you first. No website gallery, no social media, no advertising, unless you have said yes. If you say yes and change your mind later, email us and we will take it down.
  • You can have your files deleted at any time. Just ask. You do not have to give a reason and we will not ask for one.

Drawings we cannot illustrate

Children draw what they love, and quite often what they love belongs to Disney. We may decline an order, and will refund it in full, where the drawing is substantially a copyrighted character, logo or brand, or where the artwork is hateful, sexual, violent or otherwise something we would rather not print. We will tell you why and we will not be precious about it.

The illustration we make

The finished illustration is a new work that we create from your drawing. When your order is paid for in full, we grant you a permanent, worldwide, personal licence to use it however you like for your own purposes — print it, frame it, put it on a Christmas card, send it to a grandparent. What that licence does not include is reselling the illustration itself as a product, or licensing it to somebody else. If you want to do something commercial with it, email us and we will sort out terms; we are not difficult about this.

Proofs and approval

We send a proof before anything is printed or finalised. Two rounds of changes are included at no cost. Nothing goes to print until you approve it, so please look properly before you press the button. Once you approve a proof, the illustration is finished work.

Prices, payment and orders

Prices are shown in US dollars and may change, but the price you paid at checkout is the price of your order. We may refuse or cancel an order — for example if an item was listed at an obviously wrong price, if we cannot verify payment, or under the section above. If we cancel, you get a full refund.

Import duties and taxes on international orders are set by your government, are not included in our prices, and are payable by you.

Returns, refunds and delivery

Because every item is made to order with your child's drawing on it, we cannot accept change-of-mind returns on printed goods. We will always replace or refund anything damaged, misprinted, wrong or undelivered. The detail is in our Refund Policy and our Shipping Policy, both of which form part of these terms.

Colour and finish

Screens and printers do not agree with each other. Colours on a printed item can differ slightly from what you saw on your monitor, and paper, canvas and fabric each take ink differently. Small variation of this kind is normal and is not a fault. Anything genuinely off — wrong colour, bad crop, faded print — we replace or refund.

Your privacy

How we handle your personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy.

The website itself

We try to keep famousfridge.com accurate and available, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change or withdraw products at any time. The site, our own text, photographs and branding belong to us.

Where we stand if something goes wrong

If we get your order wrong, we fix it or refund it — that is the promise and we mean it. Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, our liability for any order is limited to what you paid for it. Nothing here limits any right you have under consumer law that cannot be limited, and nothing here excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

Which law applies

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules. If you are a consumer living elsewhere, you keep the protections of the mandatory consumer law where you live.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it. The date at the top tells you when this page last changed.

Talk to us

If something here is unclear, or your situation does not fit any of it, email hello@famousfridge.com and describe it. We would rather sort it out than argue about a policy page.
