Shipping policy

There are two kinds of order on this site, and they arrive in completely different ways.

Orders that arrive by email

The Illustration and Make It Move — Animated Clip. No postage, no parcel, no tracking number.

• We email you a proof within 24 hours (business days) of receiving the drawing.
• Once you approve it, the final high-resolution files land in your inbox the same day.
• Check your spam folder. Add hello@famousfridge.com to your contacts and it will not happen again.

Orders that arrive by post

Everything else. Each one is printed to order after you have approved the illustration, so there are two stages to the wait.

1. Making it

2–7 business days. Nothing is printed before you approve the proof, so this clock starts then, not at checkout.

2. Getting it to you

Once it leaves the print facility:

• United States: 3–8 business days
• Canada: 5–12 business days
• United Kingdom and Europe: 6–15 business days
• Australia and New Zealand: 8–20 business days
• Everywhere else: 10–30 business days

These are estimates from our printing partners and their carriers. They are not guarantees, and we cannot control what happens once a parcel is with the postal service.

What it costs

Shipping is calculated at checkout from the weight of your order and where it is going. You will see the exact amount before you pay — we never add anything afterwards.

Tracking

You get an email with a tracking number the moment your parcel ships. It can take 24–48 hours before the carrier's website shows any movement, which is normal and not a sign that anything is wrong.

Where we ship

Worldwide, wherever our printing partners can deliver. If checkout will not accept your country, email us and we will see what can be done.

Customs, duties and import taxes

If you are outside the United States, your country may charge import duties or taxes when the parcel arrives. These are set by your government, are not included in our prices, and are not something we can predict, control or refund. They are payable by you.

Orders that arrive in more than one parcel

If you order several different items, they may be printed in different facilities and arrive separately, on different days. This is normal. Nothing is missing — the rest is still on its way.

Delays

Things that genuinely slow parcels down: the November–December rush, bad weather, and customs. If your order is more than 10 business days past the estimate above, email us with your order number and we will chase the carrier or simply reprint it.

Lost or missing parcels

If tracking has shown no movement for 10 business days, or says delivered when nothing arrived, email hello@famousfridge.com. Check with neighbours and your building first — that solves it more often than you would think. If it really is gone, we reprint and resend at no cost to you.
